With an all-too-transparent effort at achieving undue influence with the new Obama Adminstration, Ben & Jerry may have step into one big pile of cow manure by naming their newest creation "Yes Pecan" The legal ramifications are unclear pending a congessional investigation that is hastily being convened to assess possible lobbying and campaign law violations. It is not clear whether this was Ben's idea or Jerry's but the two men have hired counsel to untangled what is at best going to be a public relations nightmare for the anthropomorphic marketing geniuses. According to sources, this comes at a particularly delicate moment as they are trying to influence EPA legislation on cow fart emissions that are increasingly seen as one of the greatest sources of carbon-induced global warming.
